This is my first band, Hot Off The Press. Howard Yearwood (guitar), Frank Javorsek (mandolin), Dennis Fetchet (fiddle), me, and Carol Yearwood (bass). This photo appeared in Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine in 1977.
The record album cover photo of Hot Off The Press taken at Six-Flags Magic Mountain. Tom Ferguson (fiddle), me, Howard, Carol, and Frank. We're standing around an old-time (you guessed it) printing press.
Hot Off the Press at the Golden West Bluegrass Festival in Norco, California. Bob Frankot is on fiddle. Don't all California bluegrass bands wear Hawaiian shirts?
Frank, Howard, and me at the Chino Bluegrass Festival.
Bill, the "cover boy" of The Banjo Newsletter, July 1980. Sorry, no fold-out.
The Donna Douglas Band. Donna played Elly May Clampett on TV’s “The Beverly Hillbillies.” Dick Tash (piano), Joe Neddo (bass), Donna, Tommy Behrens (drums), me (guitar). Donna called the band Deer Creek, and she referred to us as her "critters.” Notice our road manager lounging on top of the PA amplifier.
Davida Johnson, Doc Severinsen, and me during the taping of a 1982 "Hee Haw" TV show. Usually, I had to wear a tux! This was more my speed.
The Rounders performing at the 1984 Olympics, Los Angeles, CA. Doub Pearce (bass), Kenny Blackwell (mandolin), me, and Howard Yearwood (guitar). Doub wasn't wearing his cowboy boots that day. He had a 100 yard dash heat immediately after our performance :)
Catherine Bach played Daisy Duke on TV’s “The Dukes of Hazard.” Larry McNeely was the banjo player on the soundtrack for many years. When he moved from Los Angeles back to Nashville I got the gig.
The Pinewood Pickers at Disneyland in 1987. Dennis Fetchet, Tom Sauber, Peggy Corzine and me.
Disneyland's "Pig Race Show" band. Denny Hardwick (guitar), Dennis Fetchet (fiddle), me, and Dick Hardwick (MC and washboard). Isn't it amazing what grown men will do for money?
Mugging for the camera at Disneyland (1989). Tom Corbett, Peggy Corzine, Tom Sauber, me.
The Tom Corbett band appearing at the Walnut Grove Memorial Day Bluegrass Festival, May 30, 2005. That's me, Tom, and David Ferguson.

The Bluegrass Ghosts at the Temecula Bluegrass Festival in April 2019. Brantley Kearns (fiddle), Lance Bilitzer (mandolin), Dennis Witcher (bass), Cindy Bell (guitar), and me.
That’s Tom Corbett and me on The Fireman’s Bar-B-Que stage at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. It’s hard to concentrate on playing music while watching folks chowing down on great chicken and ribs.
I played on a couple of episodes of Fox TV’s “Bob’s Burgers.” The producers gave me this signed still photo of one of the scenes.
Phil Salazar and the Kin Folk: Phil on fiddle, Elizabeth Rizor on twin fiddle, Bill Flores on Dobro, guitar, and accordion, Tom Corbett on mandolin and guitar, Rick Borella on bass, and me on banjo.
Our two CDs: “Project 1, Part 3,” and “All That! For This?”
